At 14.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Sagrantino 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines that are on average 70 years old from 4 villages in Maconnais: Solutré-Pouilly, Fuissé, Vergisson e Chaintré, faced to South and South-East. Vinification: pressing and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is aged 12 months in steel, 12 in barrels and as many in the bottle. A wine reflecting Umbria's hillside terroir at the heart of Italy.
