Tasting Notes

This exceptional Friuli Isonzo DOC showcases the authentic character of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Sauvignon 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from 16-year-old vines from the "Piere" vineyard of 12.50 hectares on deep and well-drained soils, with the presence of clay and silica. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel for 16-20 days, without carrying out malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged 8 months on the lees in steel and at least 10 in the bottle.
