A fine example of Friuli Venezia Giulia winemaking, this Friuli Isonzo DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Sauvignon 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from 16-year-old vines from the "Piere" vineyard of 12.50 hectares on deep and well-drained soils, with the presence of clay and silica. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel for 16-20 days, without malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged 10 months in bottle, with an elevage of 8 months on the lees. A wine showing the influence of the region's cool alpine breezes.
