This distinctive wine from Friuli Venezia Giulia embodies traditional Italian winemaking heritage. With 13% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Sauvignon 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Grave Area at 90 metres above sea level on soils rich in marl, clay and silt. Organic and Biodynamic farming. Vinification: alcoholic and malolactic spontaneous fermentation with only indigenous yeasts and 2 days of skin maceration. The wine is aged 6 months in concrete tanks, 3 months in fifth passage barrique and 2 months in bottle. A wine capturing the crisp, mineral-driven style of Friuli whites.
Friuli producers are known for meticulous, terroir-driven winemaking, especially with native white varieties.
