Tasting Notes

This distinctive wine from Friuli Venezia Giulia embodies traditional Italian winemaking heritage. At 12% alcohol, it stays light on its feet without sacrificing character. Crafted from White grapes, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Its lively perlage and crisp finish make it an ideal celebratory pour. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines of 20 years at 180-250 meters on sea level, east/west facing on limestone-clayey soils. Yield per hectare of 60 quintals. Organically grown. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks with little addction of must from dried grapes and second fermentation according to the long Charmat Method. The wine is aged in steel vats for 6 months, barriques for 16 months, bottle for 15 months. A wine capturing the crisp, mineral-driven style of Friuli whites.
