Tasting Notes

Produced in Sicily, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. Its modest 12% alcohol content favours freshness and drinkability. Crafted from White grapes, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. A steady stream of fine bubbles supports a bright, refreshing palate. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 22 years old vines cultivated according to the guyot system in Marsala, in a sandy calcareous soil. Vinification: fermentation with indigenous yeats in steel tanks and barrique, aging for 12 months in the lees, and second fermentation in bottle according to the Traditional Method, with the addition of fresh must, reserve wine and Vecchio Samperi. The wine is aged 30 months on the lees in bottle. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
