This Portofino DOC captures the distinctive personality of Liguria terroir. With 12.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Bianchetta, Vermentino e Cimixà, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. A steady stream of fine bubbles supports a bright, refreshing palate. The fruit is sourced from vineyards cultivated according to the Pergola Trentina system in a clayey soil at 300-450 m above sea level, in Giovo village. Vinification: sparkling wine produced according to the Champenoise Methond, with second fermentation in bottle. The wine is aged 26 months on the lees in the depths of the sea, 60 meters under sea level. A wine showing the maritime freshness typical of Ligurian whites.
Liguria's dramatic terraced vineyards hug a stunning stretch of Mediterranean coastline.
