Produced in Umbria, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. Its 12.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Sangiovese 50%, Pinot Nero 30% and other grapes 20% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. A steady stream of fine bubbles supports a bright, refreshing palate. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks, with lowering temperatures to stop fermentation; second fermentation in bottle without liqueur de tirage. The wine is aged 48 months on the lees. A wine reflecting Umbria's hillside terroir at the heart of Italy.
Umbria is home to Sagrantino di Montefalco, one of Italy's most tannic and age-worthy reds.
