Among the most celebrated expressions of its category, this Torgiano Rosso Riserva DOCG showcases exceptional craftsmanship. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Sangiovese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from vigna Monticchio of Tenuta Torgiano, at 300 metres of altitude and with west exposure. Vinification: fermentation in steel with maceration on the skins for 25-28 days. The wine is aged 12 months in wooden barrels, then over 40 months in bottle. A wine showing the elegant, structured style typical of Umbrian reds.
Umbria is home to Sagrantino di Montefalco, one of Italy's most tannic and age-worthy reds.
