Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico 'di Gino' Fattoria San Lorenzo Italian wine - Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi DOC from Marche

Tasting Notes

This exceptional Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi DOC showcases the authentic character of Marche. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Verdicchio 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on the north side of Etna at 650 m above sea level, with screws sapling that are 40-80 years, rooted in a volcanic soil rich in ash. Vinification: soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks. The wine is aged 6 months in steel tanks on the lees. A wine reflecting the Marche region's balance of Adriatic influence and hillside terroir.
