A fine example of Liguria winemaking, this Colli di Luni DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Vermentino 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the area of Luni and Castelnuovo Magra at 100-200 meters above sea level on pebbly, clayey soil rich in skeletons. Vinification: maceration in press for 24 hours, soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature for 15 days. The wine is aged 3 months in steel on the lees and at least 3 months in the bottle. A wine capturing the coastal, saline character typical of Liguria's terraced vineyards.
Liguria's dramatic terraced vineyards hug a stunning stretch of Mediterranean coastline.
