This Vernaccia di Oristano DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sardinia terroir. At 18.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Vernaccia 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards lean and sandy soils a few metres above sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel. The wine is aged many years in drained oak barrels under flos, topping up the base of the 1979 vintage. A wine reflecting the island's ancient indigenous grape heritage.
