The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines of 30 years old at 400 meters above sea level on vulcanic soils South-East facing. Yield per hectare to 60 quintals. Grown organically. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation and maceration of 25 days in chestnut barrels, soft pressing, no clarification and filtration. Sulfites added minimum. The wine is aged 12 months in chestnut casks, 8 months in bottle. A wine reflecting the volcanic soils of Mount Vulture.
