A fine example of Basilicata winemaking, this Aglianico del Vulture DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Aglianico 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. Vinification: hand picked, fermented for ten days at room temperature with frequent pumping over and controlled delestage. The wine is aged 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels. A wine showing the structured intensity typical of Basilicata's Aglianico-based reds.
Basilicata remains one of Italy's smaller, lesser-known but highly distinctive wine regions.
