This Sannio DOC captures the distinctive personality of Campania terroir. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Aglianico 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards cultivated according to the Guyot system at 250-300 m above sea level in Sannio Beneventano area. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks with maceration on the skins for 18 days and malolactic fermentation in French tonneaux. The wine is aged 6 months in tonneaux from Allier. A wine showing the volcanic and mineral character typical of Campania's soils.
Volcanic soils around Vesuvius give Campania wines a distinctive mineral intensity.
