Tasting Notes

Among the most celebrated expressions of its category, this Romagna Albana DOCG showcases exceptional craftsmanship. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Albana 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 25-years-old-vines cultivated according to the Pergoletta Romagnola system in a hilly soil rich in clay. Late harvest during October and November, when the grapes are over-ripe, attacked by Botrytis Cinerea noble mold. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine is aged about 8 months on the lees in steel tanks and in barriques. A wine embodying Emilia Romagna's easy-drinking, food-loving character.
