A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Sicilia DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards sapling farms located on volcanic soils at 950 metres above sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 12 months in tonneaux and a few months in concrete. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
