Produced in Piedmont, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. At 16% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Pinot Bianco 50%, Chardonnay 35%, Sauvignon 15%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in soil rich in minerals in Cornaiano area at 450-500 metres above sea level. Vinification: soft pressing of the whole bunches, cold settling and alcoholic fermentations for grape types in 12 and 15 hl in oak barrels, with malolactic fermentation only for the Chardonnay. The wine is aged 12 months on the lees in French big oak barrels and at least other 12 in bottle. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
