This Barbaresco DOCG stands as a benchmark for Piedmont's highest quality classification. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 25-years-old vines located on soil rich in morainic debris and porphyritic stone. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration for three weeks on the skins. The wine is aged 20-22 months in big Slavonian oak barrels, then 10 months in bottle. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
