This Barbera d'Asti DOCG stands as a benchmark for Piedmont's highest quality classification. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Barbera 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the vines of the south Asti on a soil rich of marine sediments, called "sabbie astiane". Vinification: alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in steel tanks with 10 days of maceration on the skins. The wine is aged 16 months in steel and wood. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
