With 15% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Barbera 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards surrounded on three sides by an ancient forest of oak, hornbeam and beech trees, it has a south/south-west exposure at an altitude of 260 m above sea level. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation in steel vats for 10 days. The wine is aged 15-18 months in large 25 hl oak barrels followed by a further 12 months resting in the bottle.
