This Langhe DOC captures the distinctive personality of Piedmont terroir. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from 90% Barbera and 10% Dolcetto, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards approximately 15-year-old vines planted on mixed clay-limestone soil at 470 meters elevation with southwest exposure. Vinification: temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation with maceration on the skins for 8-10 days and daily pumping over. The wine is aged maturation partly in steel tanks and partly in wood. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
Piedmontese winemaking combines meticulous attention to detail with deep respect for tradition.
