This Barolo DOCG stands as a benchmark for Piedmont's highest quality classification. At 14.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines planted in 2005 on loamy clay and alkaline loamy soils, very poor in organic matter. Vinification: fermentation with daily punching down and pumping over. The wine is aged 24 months in wood, 10 months in cement and 6 months in bottle before market release. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
