This prestigious Barolo DOCG represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking excellence. At 14.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the territory of Serralunga d'Alba, at an altitude of 320-360 m. above sea level, on calcareous soils and vines of 10-55 years of age. Vinification: fermentation and maceration for 15 days. The wine is aged at least 30 months in oak barrels, then at least 12 months in bottle. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
