Barolo 'Ravera' Sordo

This Barolo DOCG stands as a benchmark for Piedmont's highest quality classification. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards located on rather loose and rich soils, consisting of whitish marls resting on more compact layers of brownish-grey marls. Vinification: alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The wine is aged 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.
