The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the historic vineyard of Il Marroneto, on sandy soil mixed with minerals to 400 meters above sea level. Vinification: fermentation in Allier oak for 20-22 days. The wine is aged 41 months in oak barrels of Allier, then 10 months in bottle. A wine true to the storied winemaking heritage of Tuscany.
