Crafted from Sangiovese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines near to Poggio Alle Mura castle, in a hilly soil at 220 metres above sea level. Vinification: fermentation with maceration for 12-13 days in steel and wooden vats called Hotizon. The wine is aged 24 months in French barriques for 90% and in big Slavonian barrels for 10%.
