Crafted from Sangiovese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from one of the most ancient vineyard in the southern slope of Montalcino, rooted in a gravelly soil. Vinification: destemming, soft pressing, alcoholic fermentation on the skins for 16-17 days and malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged 24 months in small and medium oak barrels.
