This exceptional Buttafuoco dell'Oltrepò Pavese DOC showcases the authentic character of Lombardy. At 15% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Croatina 60%, Barbera 25%, Uva Rara 15%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. Vinification: destemming, soft pressing, cold maceration on the skins for 2 days, alcoholic fermentation on the skins in steel tanks and malolactic one in concrete vats. The wine is aged some months in steel or concrete vats. A wine true to the meticulous Lombard approach to winemaking.
