A fine example of Abruzzo winemaking, this Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Montepulciano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It shows a delicate pale hue with fresh red-berry aromas and a crisp finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Ponte village with South-East exposure at 300 metres above sea level. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation in oak barrels without temperature control and without filtering. The wine is aged 12 months in barrels, then in bottle for 1 or 2 years. A wine true to Abruzzo's tradition of vibrant, food-friendly reds and whites.
Abruzzo sits between rugged mountains and the Adriatic Sea, producing vibrant, approachable wines.
