This distinctive wine from Umbria embodies traditional Italian winemaking heritage. Its 12.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Chardonnay 85%, Grechetto 15% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on clayey, gravelly and sandy soils. Vinification: cold maceration for 4 hours, cold settling; alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in barriques for the Chardonnay and alcoholi fermentation in steel tanks for the Grechetto. Final blending in steel tanks. The wine is aged 5 months in barriques and 10 months in bottle. A wine reflecting Umbria's hillside terroir at the heart of Italy.
Umbria is home to Sagrantino di Montefalco, one of Italy's most tannic and age-worthy reds.
