Tasting Notes

A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 12.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Chardonnay 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from some vineyards in Magrè, Salorno, Cortaccia and Pochi at an altitude between 230-500 meters on sandy, gravelly and very limestone soils which host vines of 10-76 years. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature in steel. The wine is aged 4 months in steel tanks on the lees. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
