Chardonnay Elena Walch

A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Chardonnay 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a hilly calcareous soil until 600 metres above sea level, faced to South-East. Vinification: soft pressing, cold settling of the must and fermentation in steel tanks at the contolled temperature of 20°C. The wine is aged alcuni mesi in acciaio. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
