This Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC captures the distinctive personality of Alto Adige terroir. At 12.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Chardonnay 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at Magrè at 230 - 250 meters on sea level. Sandy, gravelly and limestone soils. Yield per hectare of 53 hectoliters. Worked in organic and biodynamic. Vinification: soft pressing of the grapes, spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel. The wine is aged 9 months on the lees in steel vats and in oak casks. A wine showing the alpine freshness and purity typical of Alto Adige.
Alto Adige combines Italian and Austrian winemaking traditions in Italy's northernmost wine region.
