Hailing from Alto Adige, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. At 12.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Chardonnay 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 11-46 year old vines from the Löwegang farm in Magré on sandy, gravelly and very calcareous soils at 230-330 meters above sea level. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with barriques and large wooden barrels for almost a year. The wine is aged 12 months in barrique and large wood barrels. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
Alto Adige combines Italian and Austrian winemaking traditions in Italy's northernmost wine region.
