A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Menfi DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Chardonnay 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards maroccoli and Ulmo vineyards, at 100-250 metres above sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in barrique at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 12 months in barrique, half new and half second-pass ones. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
Sicilian producers blend indigenous grapes with international varieties, reflecting the island's rich cultural mix.
