Tasting Notes

This exceptional Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC showcases the authentic character of Alto Adige. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Chardonnay 94%, Viognier 4%, Sauvignon Blanc 2%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from two subareas: one in Terlan, with exposure to the south-west at 300 meters asl on sandy soil of volcanic origin, and the other in Caldaro, with exposure to the south, at 350 meters above sea level, on clayey and sandy soil with the presence of morainic deposits. Vinification: soft and delicate pressing, short maceration on the skins for 4 hours, fermentation with indigenous yeasts in wood barrels. The wine is aged 9 months in wood vats. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
