This Chianti Classico DOCG stands as a benchmark for Tuscany's highest quality classification. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Sangiovese 80%, Abrusco, Malvasia Nera, Ciliegiolo, Pugnitello, Mazzese 20%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on medium-textured soil with the presence of calcareous-marly clay with a spurred cordon and guyot system. Vinification: fermentation in steel with maceraion on the skins for 22 days. The wine is aged 24 months in wood, of which 50% in 60-100 hl and 50% barrels French oak barrels of 225-500 lt.
