Crafted from Sangiovese 95%, Merlot 5%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from a single vineyard Riserva di Fizziano on rich soil of sand with exposure to the south-west. Vinification: fermentation continued for 30 days at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 24 months in oak wood barrels of 35 hl and a part in barrique.
