This Chianti Classico DOCG stands as a benchmark for Tuscany's highest quality classification. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Sangiovese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the Mocenni estate in Castelnuovo Berardenga on rich soil of alberese and galestro at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel with maceration on the skins for 16-18 days at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 15 months in wood barrels and 12 months in bottle. A wine capturing the sun-drenched hills of Tuscany in every glass.
From the rolling hills of Chianti to the coastal Maremma, Tuscany's diverse terroir produces wines of exceptional character and aging potential.
