A fine example of Calabria winemaking, this Cirò DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 12% alcohol, it stays light on its feet without sacrificing character. Crafted from Greco Bianco 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 25 years-old vines from Ponta vineyards, composed by white clay. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration on the skins for 2 days. The wine is aged 24 months in steel tanks and 6 months in bottle. A wine capturing the sun-drenched character of Italy's southernmost mainland region.
Calabria's wine tradition is enjoying renewed international attention in recent years.
