'Clos de Cartesan' Le Vieux Joseph

This distinctive wine from Valle d'Aosta embodies traditional Italian winemaking heritage. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Red grapes , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on the left bank of the Dora Baltea, steep terraces on soils of glacial, moraine and alluvial origin. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts, 30-day maceration with frequent punching down. No clarification or filtration. The wine is aged 12 months in stainless steel tanks. A wine showing the alpine purity typical of this small mountain region.
