Coda di Volpe 'Janare' La Guardiense Italian wine - Sannio DOC from Campania

Tasting Notes

A fine example of Campania winemaking, this Sannio DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Coda di Volpe 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards farms at 300-400 metres above sea level on calcareous-clayey soils. Vinification: cryo-maceration in reduction with following soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is aged a few months in steel tanks. A wine showing the volcanic and mineral character typical of Campania's soils.
