This Controguerra DOC captures the distinctive personality of Abruzzo terroir. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Trebbiano d'Abruzzo 60%, Chardonnay 25%, Passerina 15%,, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. Vinification: short maceration of 15 hours of the skins, alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature in oak barrels. The wine is aged 12 months in large 25-hectoliters Slavonian oak barrels. A wine showing the generous, approachable character typical of Abruzzo wines.
