This exceptional Langhe DOC showcases the authentic character of Piedmont. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Dolcetto 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines with an average age of 35 years, planted on mixed clay-limestone soil at 450 meters altitude with southwest exposure. Vinification: temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks and maceration on the skins for 8-10 days with daily pumping-over. The wine is aged part in steel tanks and part in wooden barrels. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
The region's continental climate and varied soils create ideal conditions for both indigenous and international grape varieties.
