A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Caluso DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Erbaluce 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at 300-350 meters above sea level on the gentle morainic hills, composed of sand and a small part of silt and clay. Vinification: natural drying of the grapes on racks, soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged 36 months in wood barrels. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
