Tasting Notes

A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Etna DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 12.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Carricante 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at 600 m above sea level in volcanic soils in Milo and Castiglione di Sicilia. Vinification: soft pressing, static decantation and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is aged 4 months on the lees in steel tanks. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
