A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Etna DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Carricante 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards with Guyot method on volcanic sandy soil at 690-720 metres of altitude. Vinification: soft pressing, alcoholic fermentation of 75% in steel tanks and 15% in tonneau. The wine is aged some months on the lees in steel vats and, for the 15%, in tonneau. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
Sicilian producers blend indigenous grapes with international varieties, reflecting the island's rich cultural mix.
