A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Etna DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 12% alcohol, it stays light on its feet without sacrificing character. Crafted from Carricante 70%, Catarratto 30%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards old vines from contrada Santo spirito and contrada Passopisciaro on sandy volcanic soils at 680-750 metres s.l.m. Vinification: soft pressing and no maceration. The wine is aged in steel containers for 6 months. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
