This Etna DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sicily terroir. At 13% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Carricante 90%, Inzolia 4%, Catarratto 3%, Grecanico 3% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards sapling vines in volcanic soils at 600-700 metres above sea level, in Contrada Piano dei Daini from Solicchiata and in Contrada Santo Spirito from Passopisciaro. Vinification: soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 4 months in steel tanks for 80% and in tonneau for the 20%. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
Sicily, the Mediterranean's largest island, pairs ancient viticultural heritage with a dynamic modern wine renaissance.
